My New Song: ''Win the Race of Life''

I just finished writting my new song: Win the Race of life.
Here are the lyrics just for you:

1- You can have big dreams
You can have big goals
If your heart doesn't steam
The passion from your soul
You'll be lost forever
Take action in your power

2- You think that's easy
You think you're good enough
First corner that's crazy
That's not time to be soft
Well expand your vision
To pass thru competition

Refrain:
Stay focus, stay on track
Of your life and your destiny
If people wants to smack
Your dreams and your baby
Avoid them and stay strong
Feel exactly where you belong

3- You go fast enough
You go from your heart
Your challenge can be rough
But you need to play smart
The back straight is coming
You will have time for breathing

4- You need to take care
You need your balance
Hoping you are aware
That your life is your chance
To shine your brightest heart
Each time you can take the start

Bridge:
Act one corner at a time
Get thru the finish line
What is most important
Never give-up in life
You have all the talents
to WIN THE RACE OF LIFE!

Big Dreams come true...Part 2

In the first part of achieving my dream, I spoke to you about all the obstacles and painstaking steps I had to take especially the one about immigration, which kept delaying the start up of my Real Estate business. I will now share with you the last 4 years of my life. My adventure started in November 2006 when I decided to follow my dream and tour the USA for 4 months. I had to sell my house, and my car. Next I bought another motorcycle, and a bigger trailer so that I could explore and race in the USA. The life of a traveler is very exciting and interesting, while at the same time relaxing, and insightful. It was there, while on my journey that I realized I had a mission in life, and that was to help others to attain their dreams and vanquish negative thoughts of depression and suicide.

In life, most of us a very spoiled and are not even aware of how much we have. During my trip, I had no running water, no electricity, no air-conditioning, a very small shower, and it was by no means luxurious, only the essentials. The first days at my apartment in California, my dream now realized, I really began to appreciate the small things of everyday life. What we take for granted such as running water, taking a shower, in “my” shower, and not in shower of a gym, campsite, truck stop or at friends, was a very comforting feeling. Finally, I was home. I had found a sense of belonging, stability and was now able to grow roots. How many times in our daily lives do we waste precious resources while millions of people on earth have no running water?

Another aspect which hit home was electricity. Can you imagine! I no longer had to worry about how long the solar panel in my RV would power up for, or try to figure out if I had enough propane to for the stove or whatever heat I needed. Now everything is so much easier and simpler – so much simpler! Hot water, a refrigerator that works all the time, a stove, the ability to recharge batteries, my computer, and a microwave! All these things make life so much more convenient and easier. We do not realize how much in our lives we take for granted, as we are spoiled.

The third thing, which really awoke my consciousness, was space. For 4 years, I lived half the year in a 23 foot long RV; the other half of the year, I lived in very small room in my office which I had converted in a loft. I did all this so that I could scrimp and save to reach California, which is considerably expensive. Even my brain felt cramped and suffocated. To be in my apartment and to have my own living space with decorations, real furniture, windows, lots of light had a huge impact on me mentally. I now felt free to breathe and grow fully. Also, the desire to have a nice, clean place without the clutter of boxes, files, and clothes strewn all over has made such a difference. I am proposing that you do the following exercise and that is to list all that you do and use in any given day and see what you are taking for granted. I am sure you will be surprised! If ever, you find your room, office or living room to be a mess, just clean it up and you will see what a sense of serenity and peacefulness comes over you.

Finally, the last thing I noticed, when I moved into my new home was the scenery, and comfortableness the little things brought. There was beautiful nature in all my new surroundings, access to the pool and the sauna…. Wow!!! I really missed my spa which I had prior to 2006. The ability to lie a few hours at the pool whenever I chose, relax in the sun, listen to the birds chirp, and feel the soothing caress of a gentle breeze, brought such a sensation of wellbeing. It gives me energy and calms me. A hot spa at night for 20 or 30 minutes brings a sense of exhilaration to my skin and lets me forget the torments of the day, as well as the challenges of the past and of those to come in the future. It’s a very reenergizing feeling, alleviating all stress and worry from the mind. Now that I’m almost all settled (we are still missing our living room set) I hope that I will have more time to relax, fully absorbing the benefits from my new place in California provides and come to appreciate even more my dream now realized.
What is your biggest dream and what actions are you taking to achieve it?

I leave you with 4 small exercises:
1. Make a list of things that you have and take for granted, i.e. electricity, microwave, water, family, friends, etc…
2. Clean up your space – office, room, etc...
3. List your biggest dream
4. Detail your action plan.

I hope that you will take these exercises seriously as they will permit you to really become conscious all the while, think about my 4 year trip. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have more questions. Please download my free e-book on my site: www.nadineracing.com

Big dreams come true .... with Big Sacrifices! (Part 1)

Do you think that you can fulfill your dreams by just willing it to happen? Or by a stroke of luck? Or by the fruit of many sacrifices?

I have just achieved my 4 year dream but through many sacrifices. I hope this story will encourage you to never give up, to believe in your dreams and to achieve them no matter what.

When I sold my house and my car in 2006 to buy a motor home, a bigger trailer and a second motorcycle, my ultimate goal was to settle down in California. I have been a business woman since 1995 but in 2007 in order to get a Work Visa, I even considered of finding employment in California. However, after 2 interviews, I quickly realized that it was impossible for me to work for others as I enjoyed too much my freedom as a business woman, my flexible schedule and my own employment security.

Another solution to obtain my US Visa was to get married but that went against my principles. I really wanted to get into the USA but through the front door. I, therefore, decided to invest in Real Estate investments, to start my own business and that at a the beginning of that financial crisis, interest rates were low, the Canadian dollar strong and where housing market investments were in a spiraling downfall. Everybody was telling me that I was crazy but I know in a few years, that would be the best decision, despite everyone’s opinion.

In December 2007, I took one of the best courses (almost 300 hours) possible in the US with Nouveau Riche (www.nouveauriche.com). I thus learned the ‘’how to’’ from A to Z, learned from the best, became a member of this community and established many contacts toward the success of my new Company. Less than 3 years later, I am now in the middle of 5 other transactions. So far, I have completed 14 such transactions since my first one in June 2008 in the worst timing ever in the loan history; in May 2008 all Foreign Investment Loan programs were cut! Why couldn’t I be better? I had to learn really quickly other ways of finding financing other than conventional ways.

On top of all these obstacles, I had to fight with the American Immigration Department who refused my Visa application twice before accepting it on April 27, 2010 on my third try. Just imagine, every time I applied, it meant a pile of papers a foot high and I had to do this 3 times. What a waste of time! But I finally got it. It was very frustrating and discouraging because I was bringing in money, contacts, an entrepreneurial mind, I was hiring Contractors, Real Estate Agents, Property Managers, Lawyers, Tax Attorneys, etc... I was bringing revenue in at a time of economic crisis but I was refused for almost 2 years.

Do you think dreams come true easily? What are the obstacles you are facing? I cried for days and nights, I looked for solutions, I consulted many specialists in their field, many friends encouraged me. I thought several times of giving up and dropping it all. I felt misunderstood, I was alone in my misery, and no one understood what was going on.

Thankfully, it is not my style to quit in the middle of something, I persevered, and I took the matter in hand head on and on. And you, which kind of person are you?

To follow…
